Altered "Stained Glass" Window workshop #3

As you saw in the last email, we had a huge and generous donation of all kinds of stained glass art supplies!  This project will not be a regular leaded stained glass window, but one in which the glass is glued to the glass of an old window and then grouted.  It's kind of an updated and simplified way of making a glass work of art. 

There will be a few sections of this class.  YOU ONLY NEED TO REGISTER AND PAY FOR ONE OF THE 4 HOUR INTRO CLASS . One on weekday, day; one on a weekday evening and one on a weekend.  We will limit the classes to 5 people so we respect safe distances and keep everyone healthy.  In this first 4 hour class you will learn, start to finish how to complete your masterpiece.  Design, transfer, composition, color and texture will all be covered.  In addtion, you will learn how to safely cut, grind, and prepare the glass in your desisn.  If you wear glasses normally, good deal because we will require them.  If not, please being a pair of safetly glasses that fit and you can see well through.  

After the class is complete, you will have confidence to move on through the project somewhat independently and we will have several open studio sessions you can attend to complete your work.  Once you learn the basics from this intro class, you will have the option of signing up for "advanced" classes where you can work on smaller projects or gifts, etc.  for a reduced fee.  This first one is expensive becuase we cover so much.  After this class, you'll be an expert and i suspect each class will be more like $30 and up based on project size.
